Mike is the Regional Director of Operations at Lackawanna College, where he leads strategic initiatives to expand and strengthen the College’s skilled trade program offerings. With a degree in Mathematics from Muhlenberg College and a decade of hands-on experience as a carpenter in his family’s general contracting business, Mike brings a rare blend of academic insight and practical expertise to his work—deeply understanding that tradespeople are not only skilled workers, but also problem-solvers, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Over the past 18 years, Mike has built his career in post-secondary career and technical education, advancing through roles from Instructor to President. His leadership has consistently focused on bridging the gap between education and workforce readiness, helping students turn their skills into sustainable, successful careers.



Outside of his professional life, Mike is a lifelong sports enthusiast and dedicated youth coach. He has spent many years coaching baseball and softball, and enjoys quality time with his wife, two adult daughters, and high school-aged son.
