BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

BPC Competition Overview
Welcome to the 24th Annual tecBRIDGE Business Plan Competition!
The BPC hosts Competitions in two Divisions:
- Student teams from the region’s colleges and universities competed in the Collegiate Division.
- Early-stage entrepreneurs competed in the Non-Collegiate Division.
Competition deliverables include a written business plan, competitor analysis, financial model, and venture presentation. Judges score the written submissions to select five finalist teams in each division to participate in an additional Live Presentation Round.
This year’s Competitions culminate on Wednesday, April 29th at the Awards Event hosted at the FM Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. Division Winners each received $10,000 in cash prizes. Guests at the Awards Event also have the opportunity to meet the finalists, learn about their venture concepts, and cast “tecBUCKS” to select a crowd-sourced Wild Card Winner. The Wild Card Winner, chosen exclusively by the audience, received a $5,000 cash prize.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our generous sponsors and volunteers. Your support continues to make the tecBRIDGE Business Plan Competition a leading showcase of entrepreneurial vision, passion, and community collaboration.
