Dr. John G. Duesler, Jr. is the Founder of The Pilot Mind Drone Academy in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Recognized as a drone innovator who has founded multiple companies, Duesler heads the PA Drone Association. Most recently, he is part of the Emmy Award-winning team who was recognized with the George Wensel Award for Technical Achievement for their work with drone augmented reality. Duesler has leveraged his technical experience into an opportunity for NEPA to become the drone training epicenter of Pennsylvania with the advent of his drone training academy. Duesler writes frequently on technology-related topics, especially as they pertain to the true innovative nature of current trends. His book, The Innovation Trap: How Ideas, Technologies, and Discoveries Deceive Us will be available in the Spring of 2026.
