Jason Bone

Jason Bone is the Assistant Operations Manager and Lead Machinist for Galaxy Manufacturing. He has been involved with all aspects of manufacturing, including development, design, fabrication, and workflow management. 

Jason started his manufacturing career at a young age by getting involved in his family’smachine shop. His passion for machining and building continued to grow stronger, as he completed the Machining Technology program at LCCC. His most recent career advancement was becoming part of the management team at Galaxy Manufacturing.

Galaxy is a company whose continued motivation is to improve its manufacturing processes and new product development. Using his 15+ years of experience, Jason has become a great asset to the company. He was involved in the design and manufacturing of new machinery, as well ascontinued workflow improvement company-wide.

Jason is also involved as a mentor to the younger generation, where he offers his time to teach local high school students about machining and manufacturing. He has always been a strong believer in passing on his knowledge to the younger generations to help the growth of manufacturing in the area. 

Sandon Birch

Sandon Birch is a Mechanical Engineer at Galaxy Manufacturing, where he works at the crossroads of design, manufacturing, quality, and leadership. As the newest member of Galaxy’s management team, his focus is on the continued improvement and innovation of the day-to-day workflow and overall product quality.

He currently holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, where he graduated in 2022.

During his young career, Sandon has taken advantage of being in a small work environment by getting involved in multiple different aspects of company operations. From CAD design and machine programming to quality, inventory, and workflow management, he has been given a diverse lens to view through as he continues to grow as both a professional and a leader. His attention to detail and motivation to continuously improve and innovate current systems havemolded Sandon into a great asset to Galaxy.
