
Frank M. Sorokach
Dr. Frank Sorokach is a leadership and management expert with both practical and academic experience. His general focus is on organizational improvement through the development of systems and personnel. He has thirty years of applied management experience in varied disciplines, owns several businesses, and has been a faculty member at Penn State University since 2012, where he is an Associate Teaching Professor of Economics and Business. He has taught in resident instruction at the Scranton Campus, asynchronously at the World Campus, anddelivers training to corporate clients through Penn State. He currently serves as the Associate Coordinator of the World Campus Business Program and oversees the Scranton LaunchBox, a business resource and accelerator for early-stage entrepreneurs. He has been a leading digital faculty consultant for McGraw-Hill since 2017 and is the lead author of the Microsoft Office 365: A Skills Approach, 2024 Edition.
Dr. Sorokach has wide expertise that includes economics, technology, project management, business strategy, pedagogical development, engaged scholarship, future trends, and personalefficiency topics. His research is specifically focused on the application of new concepts and systems to improve efficiency. This includes the integration of not only technology, but also new management theory in the business environment. His current research interests are focused on how digital badges and other credentials can decrease friction in the hiring process as well as emerging trends in entrepreneurship.
